just a flower

bright and stunning

no bloom lasts forever

from bud to falling petals

it's just a flower

i shared some with you

pleased and refreshed

by the transient beauty

of this one flower

it will one day go away

i will miss the scarlet glow

it's feeling will endure

 is it just a flower

or my soul
