cape of dreams

escape the wilted lettuce life i lead

leave the wicked world of schemes

drop that guard and ride with me

to my scarlet cape of dreams

hold  my hand and fill my life

touch my mind and challenge me

kiss my lips and feel our heat

walk along the cape of dreams

are my dreams too hard to see

a life with you that cannot be

one day maybe you and me

will drive along the cape of dreams
