Above the Fire

there is a fire burning above me

lifting golden clouds to the sky

black rain is falling all around

the blaze hungers for more

i look in awe, oh! the power of fire

i dare not look to hard in it's direction

i'm drawn to dance into the flames

in that uncontrolled inferno

called my heart

embedded in

my mind
